FYI: “SKJAJA is a community-funded nonprofit that enables kids to participate in extracurricular activities they might not otherwise be able to enjoy. SKJAJA helps students ignite their spark and bridges the gap by paying for activities which aren’t covered by scholarships. But, it’s not just about the sports, or arts, or academics. Grant recipients “pay it forward” in the community, and often that connection with the community continues long after the pay it forward is complete.” If you are interested in a scholarship from this fund, please visit their website https://www.skjajafund.org/apply

- The first email will indicate that your application was received and is being processed.
- The second email will confirm your approval to volunteer and should be presented to your contact at a school for verification.
- Approval should be expected within 5-10 business days unless there are special circumstances that need to be discussed between you and the school.
